Storm drains on our streets and in our parking lots collect rain and melting snow and direct it to area creeks and rivers — in most cases with no filters or treatment. If this runoff is polluted, it fouls our waterways. Storm drains that are choked with debris pollute our local waterways and add to street flooding.
